WHY DID JESUS WASH THEIR FEET?

As a display of the extent of His love. (1)

As a symbol of the cleansing that He provides. (6-11)

As the exemplar of Christian humility. (12-20)

Walk in love. (Ephesians 5:2)

Lord Jesus, empty me of me and fill me with your selfless, sacrificial love.

Be filled with the Spirit.. (Ephesians 5:18)

Lord Jesus, what do you have for me to do today?

Be one-another oriented. (Ephesians 5:19)

Lord Jesus, open my eyes to those around me.

Submit to one another in service. (Ephesians 5:21)

Lord Jesus, show me how I can serve those around me today, and I’ll do it.
