Bella Vista Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel, in community, and on mission. While intentionally planting a church centered on the gospel, our aim is to build a church rooted in Scripture and passionate about reaching people and seeing them flourish as disciples of Jesus.
Glorify God
This is the beginning and end of our mission: to glorify God. Perhaps this part of the mission is best summed up in the great commandment: Loving God with all our heart, soul, and strength. This is how the Bible defines worship: to love and glorify God in all things. We believe that the entirety of the Christian life and the heartbeat of the local church is the glory of God.
Make Disciples
How do we primarily achieve glorifying God as a church? Through making disciples.
Our mission begins with the great commandment, passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission: to make disciples, baptizing and teaching everything Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:19). Disciple-making is both proclaiming the gospel to those who are not followers of Christ, and proclaiming the gospel to Christians as the means by which we grow in godliness.

Gospel, Community, Mission
These three words help clarify the mission of The Trails. The gospel is what unifies us, community is what fortifies us, and mission is what drives us.
